e-seeed is engaged in creating social Architectural awareness along with allied environmental activities. It will also help to create awareness among its members about the latest technology, products available in the market and know-how to attain modernization in the field of Architecture. The trust also helps other social organizations to support any cause related to any social welfare, well being or any activity regarding the present environmental conditions, help to victims of natural calamities, etc.

“e-seeed” provides a unique platform for Manufacturers & Suppliers through its Annual Convention to introduce themselves to the members. About 400 – 500 “e-seeed” Architects throughout the Country & Abroad attend the Convention every year and share their thoughts. 

21st Annual Convention of E-seeed was conducted in Hampi ,Karnataka where in as many as 180 members actively participated. George Mitchell , John Fritz and Shama Pawar was a chief guest for the ex-students 21st meet & Annual Convention at Hampi.

George Mitchell , Australia.

An Australian architect has earned a doctorate for his study of early chalukyan temple architecture from the school of oriental African studies, university of London. During the 1980s and 1990 he and Dr. John M. Fritz co-directed an extensive survey of the medieval hindu site of Hampi –Vijaynagara in Karnataka. His research has mainly concentrated on the decan, Bengal, Gujarat and, most recently southern india.The project have varied from surveys of town planning and Islamic buildings to detailed studies of temple architecture and sculpture.He was awarded ‘nadoja’ (honorary doctors of letters) by kannada university , hampi in January 1999. 
As one of the key architects in orchestrating BIG’s phenomenal growth, he oversees the hiring and managing of the firm. Currently, David is managing the Danish Maritime Museum project, which is set to be complete in 2011. His most recent major involvement in projects have includes the recently completed Helsingør Psychiatric Hospital and the Wings Residences. With a broad background that includes studies in Philosophy and Computer Science, as well as his Architecture degree, David tackles each design challenge from numerous vantage points.

 

John Fritz , U.S.A.

An American Anthropologist received his M. A. & Ph. D. in Anthropology from University Of Chicago & specializes in Archeology. He has taught at various universities across the world. At present, he is a consulting scientist. University of Pennsylvania Museum Of Archaeology and Anthropology. Has coordinated international team of researchers at Vijaynagara & carried out intensive documentation of surface remains & has written on the city’s spatial layout & cultural meaning.
George & John have also co-directed the documentation of a garden north to the Taj Mahal that formed the larger Taj Complex. Among his joint publications with Mitchell are Where Gods and Kings Meet, the Royal Centre at Vijayanagara, India (University of Arizona Press, Tucson, 1984), City of Victory (Aperture Press, New York, 1991), The illustrated Guidebook Hampi (IBH, Bombay, 2003), New Light on Hampi (Marg, Bombay, 2004) and Hampi, a Story in Stone (Eminence Designs, Mumbai, 2009). They also co-edit a monograph series on Vijayanagara; The Twelfth Volume was published in 2010. 

 

Shama Pawar, Anegundi, Hampi.

A bachelor of fine arts also studied drafting, space planning & interior design in Michigan. She is the founder of kishkinda trust @ Anegundi, Co-Founder of Hampi Foundation & Convener for INTACH Hampi chapter. Conservation of Environment Planning, Integration of Heritage Conservation & Community Empowerment , creating physical examples of conserving traditional houses & setting up business incubators in Anegundi are few of her genuine concern & endeavors. Anegundi acts as a pilot project of today that has set systems, tools and standards for development concepts for a rural destination set in a heritage site.
