SATARA CONVENTION 2019
The 28th eseeed convention was at 'Mahabaleshwar. And "M'shwar" is the local abbreviation of the word 'Mahabaleshwar' Marathi, which is used mainly on milestones and in public transport.
"M'shwar" is very close to the word "Mashwara" in Urdu. Commonly it's meaning taken is "to counsel". But if it is understood, in broader spectrum, it means "Discussing something important among like minded and then formulating or coming to certain conclusion." And that's the spirit of eseeed convention, 2019.
So finally, to highlight the location i.e."M'shwar" and to carry the spirit of the word "Mashwara", the 28th eseeed convention is named as "M'shwara"
Kolhapur-Sangli Relief Aid 2019
Kolhapur and Sangli were hit by the worst flood in the history. Our team members of e-seeed worked day and night on rescue operations.
E-seeed's 29th Annual Social Event was at Raghuwada. Raghuwada is a wadi (cluster of hutments). E-seedians have adopted the wadi to enhance the quality of life of its residents by working in key areas such as water
supply, storm water management, wadi cleaning, school beautification, bamboo farming, plantation and women counselling.
Roots of e-seeed
Shri Prince Shivaji Maratha Boarding House’s (SPSMBH's) College of Architecture was founded by the
Boarding house of Shri Prince Shivaji Maratha. This boarding house was established in the year 1920 with the inspirational ideas of late Chhatrapati Rajarshi Shahu who belonged to Kolhapur. This is one of the best college
of Architecture in India, which has produced extremely intelligent architects over the years.
